Job Title: Forwarder (LTL & Express Europe Division)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Forwarder to join our team at AsstrA. As a Forwarder, you will be responsible for researching and planning the most suitable route for shipments, taking into account perishable or dangerous goods, cost, transit time, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate transportation and handling costs
  • Offer road consolidation services, providing cost-effective and safe solutions
  • Organize express services
  • Maintain communication and control at all stages of the journey
  • Manage administrative tasks, such as orders, events, slots, carrier checks, documentation, monitoring, and invoicing

Requirements:

  • Work experience in FTL/LTL shipments in Freight Forwarding
  • Good level of negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the market, including innovations and price levels
  • Motivation to work
  • Good knowledge of Italian and English
