Our Shared Service Center

We have a Shared Service Center network that provides accounting services to our global subsidiaries. Our EMEA Shared Service Center is accountable for various processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Master Data, Indirect Taxes, and Balance Sheet Assets for both Italian companies and European subsidiaries.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented International Accounting Specialist to join our Global Business Service Team. As an International Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing activities such as:

  1. Month-end closing accounting activities, including accruals, prepayments, inventory, and payroll
  2. Communicating with subsidiaries and internal/external stakeholders
  3. Managing balance sheet accounts reconciliation
  4. Posting and payment of vendor invoices
  5. Posting customer payments and credit memos
  6. Customer invoices and statements
  7. Assisting in preparing audit work for year-end with external auditors
  8. Executing company policies and compliance procedures
  9. Managing bank accounts reconciliation and posting

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. An Economics, Finance, Administration, or Business Management Master's Degree with excellent results
  2. Excellent English knowledge; any other EMEA languages are considered a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Arabic, etc.)
  3. At least 1 year of experience in Accounting or Auditing within complex organizations
  4. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
  5. SAP knowledge is a plus
  6. Experience working or studying abroad is a plus
