TechZone Student Manager Position

This role is ideal for students who possess advanced troubleshooting and leadership skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of mentorship and display advanced problem-solving and critical thinking.

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced TechZone student worker. They will be responsible for managing the general activity of the TechZone, carrying out duties as assigned, mentoring and training new student workers, and providing first-level help desk and walk-up support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the TechZone and its operations
  • Mentor and train new student workers
  • Provide first-level help desk and walk-up support
  • Consult with students, faculty, and staff on complex issues
Requirements:
  • Advanced troubleshooting and leadership skills
  • Proven track record of mentorship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

The student manager will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to lift up to 50lbs. They will also be required to work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.
