About the Location:

This collection of luxurious beachfront condos and a 220-room hotel, integrated within a 125-acre coastal village, offers a serene retreat along Naples' most treasured beaches. The mixed-use project provides dedicated residential amenities and a private club for residents and outside members, featuring a golf course, tennis courts, and pickle ball facilities.

About the Role:

The Director of Finance plays a vital role in the Hotel Leadership team, making key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel, Residences, and Club. This position requires providing timely and accurate financial information and counsel to hotel senior management and ownership, ensuring compliance with local and corporate policies and procedures. The Director is also responsible for the development of Finance staff to aid the company's future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguarding hotel assets and financial resources to maximize profitability.
  • Networking within the community to attract potential candidates for recruitment purposes and understanding the competitive market.
  • Assisting the General Manager in establishing policies, rules, internal controls, and safeguards.
  • Delivering high-quality financial reporting and analysis, internal control compliance, and business management with integrity and accuracy.
  • Ensuring bank accounts are opened with a bank of strong financial standing and utilizing local rating services for verification of financial strength.
  • Preparing a comprehensive monthly report of the entire financial results of the hotel in established corporate formats and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Maintaining files on all contracts, leases, and agreements and ensuring compliance with their requirements.
  • Closely monitoring and effectively managing labor costs in compliance with applicable Employment Laws.
  • Preparing forecasts and budgets as required by the corporate office, management agreements, or Residential governing documents.

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of experience in a related position with Four Seasons or another organization.
  • Four years of experience as a hotel/resort Director of Finance preferred.
  • A thorough knowledge of all jobs in the Accounting area.
  • A high degree of professional integrity and the ability to work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
  • A commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures.
  • A minimum of a BSC or BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting/Finance preferred.

Visa Requirements:

US work authorization is required unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location. Current Four Seasons managers may qualify for L-1 visa sponsorship.
