Data Engineer: Spearheading Automotive Analytics

As a Data Engineer at TecAlliance, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and designing a self-service analytics portal for the automotive market. This will involve leveraging advanced cloud and web technologies within an international agile team of experts.

This tool will empower clients' decision-making processes by providing real-time benchmark data on spare parts sales and other key metrics. By harnessing data from all users, clients can quickly adapt to market conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and designing data pipelines for the new self-service analytics portal
  • Crafting, analyzing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data pipelines
  • Gathering and storing data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Improving data quality, efficiency, and reliability through novel methods and tools
  • Implementing projects with end-to-end responsibility
  • Communicating with customers and internal/external stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Profound experience in a Data Engineer or Software Engineer position
  • Experience in data product development
  • Strong expertise in Python (e.g., pandas)
  • In-depth experience with serverless technology within AWS for data pipelines
  • Business fluency in English

While not essential, having these additional skills would be beneficial:

  • AWS certification (Solutions Architect/Data Analytics)
  • Experience with IaC tools (preferably AWS CDK or Serverless Framework)
  • Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (e.g., Apache PySpark)
  • Experience in the independent automotive aftermarket

  • All contracts are unlimited, with a two-month probation period
  • A 97% fixed base salary paid within 14 months, with a 3% performance-based bonus paid annually, dependent on company performance

We prioritize flexibility, offering a hybrid remote setup, where you can work from anywhere within the country of your employment. You'll also have access to regular on-site team events and our office in Milan.
