About the Role
The EU Research Specialist will play a key role in the coordination of research project proposals preparation, including the creation of project concepts and the definition of strategic objectives, impact assessment and strategic positioning of innovation, workplan definition and GANTT Chart preparation, risk analysis, strategic definition of consortia, budgeting, and proposal writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate research project proposals preparation, including project concept creation and strategic objective definition
- Develop and implement workplans and GANTT Charts to ensure project timelines are met
- Conduct risk analysis and strategic definition of consortia to ensure project success
- Prepare and manage project budgets to ensure financial sustainability
- Write and submit high-quality research proposals to secure funding
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in a scientific or technological field, with a background in proposal preparation and/or participation in research funded projects
- Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field, with a strong academic background
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in English written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Availability to travel in Europe for short- to mid-term assignments
