About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Media Planner to join our team at Wavemaker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating media campaigns for our clients, ensuring that all campaigns are executed in accordance with our corporate guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Manage the relationship with assigned clients, ensuring that their media planning needs are met and exceeded.
- Media Planning and Management: Plan and manage media campaigns according to the guidelines supplied by the Client Manager, ensuring that all campaigns are executed on time and within budget.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Communication Strategy Development: Participate in the development of communication strategies, working closely with the Client Manager to ensure that all strategies are aligned with the client's goals and objectives.
- Buying and Coordination: Purchase media space and coordinate with creative agencies for advertising materials.
- Client Meetings: Participate in client meetings to present campaign plans and results.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in media planning, a degree or equivalent qualification, and excellent knowledge of English spoken and written. You will also need to be highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
