Agricultural Innovations Specialist

Planet Farms is a leading vertical farming company seeking an Agriculture Engineer to join our Research and Development Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and running experiments in controlled environments to optimize crop quality and yield.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative solutions for crop production and quality control.
• Collaborate with our Tech Team to translate agronomic requirements into industrial requirements.
• Analyze data and report experimental results to inform our research and development efforts.
• Communicate scientific insights to peers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Technology, M.Sc. in Agriculture Engineering, or PhD.
• At least 3 years of experience in agriculture or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of automation and robotics techniques, Big Data Analytics, artificial intelligence, and traceability technologies.
• Experience with industrial engineering applied to agriculture 4.0.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and data analysis tools.

Language Skills:

• Italian C1
• English C1
