Job Title: ECU Brake System Owner - Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced ECU Brake System Owner to join our team at Bertrandt AG. As a leading technology partner in the automotive, aerospace and mechanical engineering sectors, we focus on the trends of digitalization, autonomous systems, connectivity and electric mobility.

Salary: €65,000 - €85,000 per year

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from €65,000 to €85,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

The ECU Brake System Owner will be responsible for managing brake actuation systems, including IPB (integrated power brake), concept and definition, hardware requirement definition, project timing integration, and tracking development activities status.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage brake actuation system suppliers
  • Develop and implement brake system actuation definitions in pre-development phase
  • Support HW requirement definition and manage vehicle requirements
  • Integrate overall project timing and track development activities status
  • Verify and validate brake system performance
  • Support development plan execution and hardware/system testing
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Good knowledge in chassis development and relevant tools
  • Knowledge in brake systems development methodologies and longitudinal Vehicle Dynamics
  • Experience with 3D/2D modeling in Catia V5
  • Knowledge of Matlab and Simulink
  • High competences on manufacturing processes and industrialization of brake system series components
  • Good knowledge of English language
