Compensation Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Compensation Analyst to join our Global HR team at Hyland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and administer compensation programs, practices, and policies.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and prepare recommendations to ensure the company maintains a competitive and cost-effective position in the markets it operates in.
  • Manage the job evaluation and documentation process, develop job families/structures, and ensure job descriptions adhere to internal and external best practices and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and execute training materials and programs that educate HR Business Partners and managers on compensation-related topics and initiatives.
  • Manage the market data process, including gathering, submitting, and analyzing data.
  • Research federal, state, and local compliance issues, such as wage and hour laws and IRS regulations, and make recommendations for policy and process updates based on changes in the law.
  • Develop and provide timely and meaningful analyses for use in making decisions related to compensation programs.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to Executives, Managers, business leaders, and HR Business Partners, identifying and solving compensation issues and ensuring that programs meet the needs of the business and employees.

Requirements:

  • Compensation experience across multiple countries within the EU.
  • Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.
  • Driven to learn and stay current professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop logical, compelling PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience as a Compensation Professional.
  • Completion of World at Work coursework.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients as demonstrated by finding common ground in completing tasks and solving problems.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to focus on key issues, research, gather, and integrate information from a variety of sources and develop sound recommendations.
