The new Project Development Manager will play a key role in driving our growth strategy in Italy, leading the development of utility-scale agro-PV projects from concept to completion.

  • Develop and manage all necessary activities for successful project development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Support the Country Manager/Project Directors with planning and monitoring activities related to each project;
  • Lead relations with third parties and co-developers, ensuring that agro-PV projects meet RP Global technical and economic standards;
  • Draft and assess preliminary layouts, offering technical solutions to maximize plant development and optimization;
  • Critically evaluate technical documentation prepared by co-developers, delivering high-quality outputs aligned with best available technology (BAT) and international/national technical frameworks;
  • Maintain excellent relations with local stakeholders, including landowners and partners;
  • Identify and secure land plots needed for project implementation;
  • Secure economical grid connections and manage application procedures for obtaining grid capacity;
  • Lead design process of MV/HV substations and participate in technical meetings;
  • Report periodically to the Project Director, Solar PV, and the Holding team;
  • Apply RP Global quality control procedures, focusing on H&S policy.

Key Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Energy Engineering preferred);
  • Advanced knowledge of technical guidelines applied to PV projects in Italy;
  • 5+ years of professional experience in solar-PV projects preferred;
  • 5+ years of experience as a Development Project Manager in renewable energy, specifically solar-PV projects;
  • High communication and negotiation skills;
  • Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
