We are seeking a highly motivated Air Freight Coordinator to join our team at AsstrA, a leading Swiss logistics company with over 30 years of experience in providing innovative logistics solutions. Our team is comprised of more than 1,500 professionals located in 24 countries around the world.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of proven experience in air freight transportation within the freight forwarding industry and a strong understanding of door-to-door air freight services. They will be responsible for establishing and developing air freight services, processing requests, and communicating with customers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and developing air freight services
  • Processing requests and organizing the air freight transportation process
  • Communicating with customers regarding international cargo transportation
  • Clarifying transportation details with suppliers
  • Making quotes and creating transport orders

The successful candidate will also participate in tender preparations and identify new market opportunities to increase airfreight volume and profitability. Additionally, they will help the sales team identify market needs and monitor market trends.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in air freight transportation
  • Experience in door-to-door air freight services
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A broadminded approach and ability to find non-standard solutions
  • Demonstrated success in business development

Our salary estimate for this position is approximately €40,000 - €60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
