About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at NewCold Melbourne. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cold storage facility and providing excellent logistics services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all electrical and mechanical systems are maintained and functioning to a high level to meet maximum operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring 99% compliance and availability of critical spare parts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality work instructions, labor, parts, and costs to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in maintenance and electrical/mechanical systems management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train, coach, and collaborate with site personnel.
  • Ability to lead tool box meetings and attend management meetings.
  • Effective communicator at all levels of the business, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to evaluate and manage height operations and rescue.
