Join Our Team as a Financial Planning and Analysis Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team as a trainee. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial planning and analysis processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the FP&A team during the forecasting and budgeting process
  • Assist in maintaining and developing reporting tools to drive financial targets and enable data-driven decision making
  • Support the business cycle plan, budget, and forecasts, analyzing performance and proposing action plans to improve profitability and cash generation
  • Work closely with the Reporting team to ensure proper P&L/BS management during the closing period
  • Support FP&A team on monthly activities relating to data validation and creation to support the business
  • Provide variance analysis vs plan and forecast on a monthly and quarterly basis, monitoring trends and proposing action plans to drive target achievement
Requirements:
  • Excellent modeling skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and VBA/Power BI
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical background
  • Ability to multitask, consistently meeting deadlines on multiple projects and activities
  • Able to effectively work as a team member with a good level of proactivity
  • Solid understanding of accounting
  • Fluent verbal and written English and Italian
