About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Science, Industry and Technology Building Services Engineering team in Milan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary projects and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key part of the Building Services Engineering Senior Team, leading projects and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Manage the service and have a direct interface with clients' teams.
  • Liaise with clients to assist in setting design ambitions and with project stakeholders to develop the design and coordination of mechanical requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sound knowledge in mechanical engineering fundamentals.
  • Bachelor/Master's Degree in Mechanical/Building/Energy Engineering.
  • Ability to technically lead and manage the design process from conceptual layout to detailed design and construction.
  • Experience with Data Center and/or Industrial buildings projects.
  • At least 10 years' experience in the design of mechanical systems.
  • Experience of working within a BIM environment using Revit with knowledge of parametric design.
  • Knowledge of both English and Italian, written and spoken.
  • Good communication skills essential for team-based working.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.
