Overview
Sidel is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer (FSE) with expertise in mechanical systems. The primary responsibilities include:
- Executing installation, start-up, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment at client locations;
- Providing technical support during and post-warranty periods, including training and additional services for Sidel's equipment;
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements to deliver informed recommendations and ensure satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and verify equipment performance at customer facilities, adhering to technical, contractual, and safety standards;
- Engage with mechanical systems and HMI for routine operations and troubleshooting according to established procedures;
- Conduct basic electrical tasks, such as cable wiring;
- Manage equipment non-conformities effectively;
- Create job progress charts and technical documentation related to performed activities;
- Guarantee high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction;
- Perform duties in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plans, and customer regulations;
- Identify and report after-sales opportunities at customer sites;
- Mentor junior staff on-site conduct, technical tasks, troubleshooting, and reporting;
- Provide updates to the ISM regarding team activities on-site.
Candidate Profile
Educational Background and Language Skills:
- Technical professional qualification or Bachelor's degree in Engineering is advantageous;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
- Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the region is a plus.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in field service roles;
- Experience within the beverage sector;
- Strong technical foundation in mechanical systems;
- Familiarity with Sidel's product range is beneficial;
- Knowledge of aseptic processes is a plus;
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90% within Italy and internationally, primarily in Europe).
