Mission Overview

As a key member of the quality assurance team for footwear and leather goods, you will report directly to the Quality Manager for Balmain W&M Accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site visits to suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Verify that the quality criteria set by Balmain are adhered to by all manufacturing partners.
  • Perform quality assessment tests on Balmain's leather goods and footwear, including shoes and sneakers.
  • Assist suppliers during initial production phases and evaluate pre-production samples.
  • Monitor and oversee each stage of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks and delivery timelines for finished products.
  • Promptly report any quality issues to the relevant control departments within the organization.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of experience in quality assurance roles within the luxury or fashion industry.

You should have a solid understanding of the key development phases for footwear and leather goods.

Willingness to travel within Italy is essential.

Proficiency in Excel and fluency in English are required.

You should be self-motivated, organized, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

A results-driven mindset, adaptability, teamwork spirit, and a passion for luxury products are highly valued.
