About This Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organization that is committed to delivering exceptional results. As a Business Continuity Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery strategies to ensure the continuity of our critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of a disaster or disruption.
  • IDentify and assess potential risks to our cloud infrastructure, data, and services, and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute testing plans to validate the effectiveness of our business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor and assess emerging risks and threats, and implement improvements to our continuity plans as needed.
  • Define and document procedures for disaster recovery, ensuring that recovery solutions meet compliance and regulatory requirements for data availability and security.
  • Lead the response during actual incidents or disruptions, acting as the point of contact for any business continuity-related issues and managing communication with both internal and external stakeholders during an incident.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, or risk management, preferably in a software or cloud environment.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and service delivery models, and previous experience in the management of disaster recovery for cloud solutions.
  • Bold expertise in developing, implementing, and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and SaaS model application.
  • Experience with Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and industry standards related to business continuity (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, SOC 2).
