Farm Maintenance Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Sfdbrands. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of all farm maintenance activities, ensuring that our facilities and equipment are in good working order and that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and oversee all maintenance systems, including work order requests and emergency response procedures.
  2. Manage the completion of all maintenance and repair requests from production in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  3. Oversee and manage maintenance parts inventory, including material ordering.
  4. Responsible for all infrastructure maintenance, including water systems, roads, fencing, electrical, propane tanks, and delivery.
  5. Develop a working knowledge of farm equipment and systems.
  6. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of department vehicles and equipment.
  7. Supervise and schedule the work of maintenance technicians and maintenance contracts.
  8. Ensure farm biosecurity is maintained.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree from an accredited college and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
