About the Role

Gruppo Montenegro, a leading international company with Italian roots, is seeking a skilled Category Manager to join its team. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing a specific group or category of products within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Category Strategy: Create and execute strategies to maximize sales and profitability for the assigned category.
  2. Price and Promo Management: Define and manage pricing and promotional strategies for the category, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales teams.
  3. Category Budget Management: Develop and manage category budgets, ensuring effective profit margins.
  4. In-Store Execution: Develop sales tools and set goals and priorities for the Store Account team to ensure optimal in-store execution.
  5. New Listing Projects: Support the Sales team in new listing projects, including salesforce presentations, KPI tracking, and listing fee evaluation.
  6. Competitor Analysis: Analyze data and insights to determine competitors' price and promo strategies, including industry and consumer trends.
Requirements
  1. Strategic Thinking: Possess an analytical mind with strategic ability.
  2. People Management: Demonstrate people management responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Trade Marketing Experience: Proven experience in Trade Marketing, Off Trade, within the Food & Beverage industry.
  2. Category Management Knowledge: Solid knowledge of category management, trade marketing, and sales principles.
  3. Data Analysis: Understanding of data analysis.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office.
  5. Language Skills: English and Italian highly proficient.
