Project Overview:

The incumbent represents the Customer within an Institutional Project for all Quality related matters, ensuring Product Assurance activities are carried out in compliance with the Company Quality Management System, Standards, Regulations, and Contract Requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain interface with Customer Quality representative for all relevant PA matters.
  • Represent privileged interface for Project Management team for all relevant PA matters.
  • Establish Project PA Plan, ensuring it is correctly implemented throughout the Project.
  • Coordinate Project Quality team activities, ensuring PA Plan is correctly flowed down at all levels, internally and towards external suppliers.
  • Prepare and maintain Quality documents, verifying other Quality/Project documents.
  • Ensure processes related to NC management are in place and implemented.
  • Ensure proper reporting of Quality aspects towards Customer, PMO, and management.
  • Participate in Project meetings and reviews, providing Quality contribution whenever necessary.
  • Monitor Quality team expenditures on the Project, highlighting discrepancies with Quality team and PM as necessary.
  • Ensure lessons learnt are formalized, capitalized, and promoted.
  • Exercise duty of alerts and right of veto according to existing processes.
  • Ensure Risk Management processes are well executed, providing proactive contributions.
  • Ensure continuous improvement processes are in place and implemented.

Main Interfaces:

  • TAS Project Manager and Project team.
  • Customer PA Manager and Project team.
  • TAS Project Quality team members.
  • Quality representatives of suppliers and partners, as applicable.

Required Experiences and Skills:

  • 10 years' experience in the Space Domain.
  • 5 years in Quality (preferably as PA Manager).
  • Knowledge of ECSS (especially Q-series).
  • Capability to effectively coordinate and delegate.
  • Capability to effectively interface at management level.
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proactivity, open-mindedness.
  • Fluency in English.
