Process Engineering Specialist

Your Responsibilities
- Identify and cascade down contractual overriding process requirements, focusing on general process requirements involving all process disciplines, ensuring traceability of implementation during project phases.
- Coordinate general process engineering interfaces of the entire plant in technical, scheduling, and qualitative aspects, focusing on P&ID, risk assessment, and plant operating integration.
- Support timely preparation of process engineering documentation for the execution phase, including internal and external documentation, operation manuals, and CE conformity.
- Coordinate technical documentation between process disciplines, ensuring seamless integration.
- Manage process engineering interfaces in accordance with business processes, customer contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, including HAZOP studies and plant safety guidelines.
- Support commissioning activities, ensuring process engineering review during commissioning and before trial operation/Fit for Performance.
- Develop and maintain HZI's technical standards and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with HZI work methodology and guidelines, including Comos guidelines.
- Support Proposal Management in corresponding areas of competence.
Your Experiences
- Masters' degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in comparable functions in the energy, environmental technology, renewable energies, oil and gas, or similar industries.
- Solid knowledge in process engineering, CAE programs, P&IDs, logic diagrams, and simulation tools (Aspen).
- Deep knowledge of process engineering and equipment design with a background in the energy sector.
- Functional Safety Engineering expertise.
- Technical lead in coordinating all process activities in renewable gas projects.
- Good knowledge/experience in plant construction and commissioning.
- Very good and detailed knowledge of process engineering, design of main equipment, system automation, control, and operation.
- Experience in dealing with multiple suppliers and procurement of systems.
- Experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.
- Experience in integrating technical systems.
- Self-driven, open-minded personality with attention to detail and precise working style.
- Fluency in English.
