Job Description

This role is responsible for planning, creating, and maintaining enterprise and IT architectures. The successful candidate will verify architectural compliance of existing environments and ensure the realization of company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall IT strategy and ensure its realization
  • Secure company security and data privacy compliance through awareness and positive collaboration
  • Define, implement, and operate consistent architecture and technology governance practices
  • Observe the IT market and prepare management presentations on IT trends
  • Develop an IT architecture according to the company strategy
  • Gather requirements from business regarding IT systems and their architectures
  • Develop solution proposals and decision-making based on requirements
  • Update IT architectures in line with the IT strategy
  • Create and maintain system documentation
  • Consult in IT projects regarding IT architectures
  • Develop quality standards in IT architectures and plan and conduct design reviews
  • Support the evaluation and selection of 3rd party cloud solutions securing privacy & security
  • Verify 3rd party IT solutions securing compliance and adhering to our standards

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or business informatics from a higher technical college, university of applied sciences or university
  • 6+ years' experience in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge in the special field of IT architecture
  • In-depth knowledge of IT standards, architectures, frameworks, methods, and practices
  • Business management knowledge for the evaluation of variants and economic efficiency
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially communication and moderation skills
  • Experience in dealing with different stakeholders
  • Ability to reduce complex issues to their essential elements and communicate them in a comprehensible way
  • Pragmatism to achieve goals efficiently
  • Ability to make uncomfortable recommendations or decisions
  • Ability to work in a team and conflict resolution skills
  • Very good written expression skills, to create architectural documentation
