Job Summary

We are seeking a Geospatial Analytics Developer to join our European Custom Solutions team. As a Geospatial Analytics Developer, you will work with our team to deliver geospatial analytics for desktop and cloud-based applications using our industry-leading image analysis software ecosystem, ENVI.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy geospatial analytics using ENVI software suite.
  • Work in an interdisciplinary, international team with geospatial analytics developers, solution architects, and software engineers.
  • Consider both technical and customer needs.
  • Stay abreast of new developments in geospatial analytics.
  • Work at customer sites up to 40% of time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer-, geo- or natural sciences, engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in working with remote sensing data. Experience in image analytics development in the geospatial domain is a plus.
  • 1+ years software development skills with proven proficiency in a mainstream language such as C/C++, Java, Python, IDL, Matlab.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A high degree of self-motivation with the ability to multitask.
  • Italian nationality and eligibility for national security clearances in Italy is mandatory.
  • Written and verbal fluency in Italian and English are mandatory.
