Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Global Technical Solutions Specialist to lead our technical team for the domestic and international market in the EMEA APAC region.
Main Responsibilities
This role will involve:
- Reviewing existing data and resources, identifying gaps, and creating and updating technical presentations and training materials for internal and external use;
- Managing the collection of inputs from local sales teams and reporting information to Product Managers and R&D Team;
- Collaborating with Agronomic Trials Teams on pre-launch agronomic tests of new products to assess product characteristics and transfer information to Sales Department;
- Contributing to the development of educational content for existing and new products and providing materials for marketing platforms;
- Building annual training programs and preparing teaching plans with structured learning experiences;
- Preparing and implementing a continuing education and training budget;
- Evaluating, updating, and improving ongoing programs to ensure they are effective;
- Participating in R&D meetings to support technical-agronomic aspects necessary for new product concept development;
- Attending client and distributor presentations to support sales process in foreign countries when high technical skills are needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in agrochemicals, life sciences, or horticultural emphasis; a Master's degree is preferred;
- Minimum ten years of agriculture experience with at least five years leading a global or large regional technical team across multiple countries;
- Ability to work collaboratively and productively with Commercial, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D functions;
- Demonstrated competency in establishing and implementing product trials, collecting, elaborating, and summarizing results;
- Ability to work effectively across numerous cultures resulting in strong and collaborative relationships;
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to adapt to various audiences including employees, customers, and management;
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems in different markets and determine the most important factors required to achieve success;
- Fluency in Italian and conversational English, with a strong preference for additional EU languages;
- Willingsness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Salary Range
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
