Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced FPGA Verification Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for studying FPGA requirements, working with the FPGA design team, and establishing test priorities and coverage targets.
Key Responsibilities- Verification Methodology and Architecture: Establish verification methodology, architecture, and infrastructure, including models, generators, monitors, etc.
- Test Bench Development: Develop the established test benches using VHDL.
- Test Execution and Reporting: Execute test procedures by simulations and on-target tests, generate reports, and verification matrices to ensure coverage of requirements.
- Code Coverage Analysis: Report code coverage analysis and RTL bugs, and support designers to resolve them.
- Documentation and Configuration Management: Manage documentation and VHDL code in adherence to Configuration Management and Change Control procedures.
- Design Reviews and Customer Audits: Conduct or participate in design reviews and support customer audits.
- Task Management and Communication: Manage assigned tasks simultaneously and effectively communicate with the team members, the group head, and, if necessary, with all levels of the organization.
- Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering: A Master's degree in an electronic engineering discipline or similar.
- Hands-on Experience with VHDL: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience coding, simulating, and verifying VHDL code for FPGA.
- EDA Tools and Laboratory Instruments: Experience with EDA tools such as HDL simulators and FPGA design tools, and laboratory instruments (power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc).
- Organizational and Communication Skills: Organized and systematic to maintain documentation in appropriate order, and strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Language Skills: Knowledge of English Language, both in writing/reading technical documentation and in speaking/listening during project meetings and design reviews.
- Mentor Questasim and Xilinx Vivado: Experience with Mentor Questasim and Xilinx Vivado.
- UVM/VMM/OVM Frameworks or System Verilog: Experience with UVM/VMM/OVM Frameworks or System Verilog.
- IBM DOORS and Mentor Reqtracer: Experience with IBM DOORS and Mentor Reqtracer.
- Version Control: Experience with version control, e.g., SVN, GIT.
- FPGA Design Flow: Experience with the FPGA design flow (synthesis, place & route, timing closure).
- DO-254 Standard: Experience with DO-254 standard.
- SoC Devices: Integration experience using SoC (System on Chip) devices, especially Xilinx product family.
