JOB PURPOSE

MSC Cruises, a leading global cruise operator, is looking for a Cyber Security Cloud Architect to join our Cyber Security division. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge in application and network cloud security, alongside expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) for both bespoke and commercially available applications. This position requires the design of secure cloud architectures and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement infrastructures and applications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


• Design and implement security solutions for applications and infrastructure within cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.).


• Incorporate security measures into software development workflows in partnership with cloud development teams.


• Advise cloud development teams on compliance with security best practices.


• Proactively engage with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with security by design principles.


• Provide strategies and recommendations to address security vulnerabilities.


• Support cloud infrastructure teams in prioritizing and resolving misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and requests for security improvements.


• Maintain the application security framework, ensuring alignment with security strategies, policies, and the evolving threat landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security.


• Expertise in the Azure cloud platform, including practical experience with Azure security services.


• Knowledge of Network Cloud Security: WAF, NSG, Cloud Firewall (NVA), DNS, etc.


• Experience in designing and implementing cloud security architectures, including IAM across multiple Identity Provider environments.


• Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.


• Proficiency in both Italian and English.


• Excellent communication, creativity, decisiveness, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.


• Familiarity with (Azure) DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, CD/CI pipelines, microservices, and containers is advantageous.


• Certifications such as CCSK, CCSP, or similar Cloud security credentials are preferred.
