Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test Lab Engineer to join our team at Poli Costruzione Materiali Trazione Srl, a Wabtec site in Camisano, Italy. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for managing all phases of testing, including request collection and quoting, equipment setup and installation, problem-solving, and result collection and submission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and conduct laboratory tests related to product development
  • Manage and conduct laboratory tests for third-party clients
  • Interact with internal departments involved in product development
  • Interact with clients regarding operational test management, providing qualified support to client personnel during in-house testing
  • Properly manage the movement of materials to be tested
  • Record test results and prepare and archive related test reports
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and machinery
  • Ensure compliance with quality documentation and registration
  • Adhere to workplace safety, environmental, and privacy regulations
  • Apply laboratory procedures and protocols
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of specific experience in a mechanical context, in a structured environment
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package
  • Teamwork and organization skills
