Role Summary: The Plant and Piping Department within the Energy Carriers Business Line is seeking a qualified Piping Material Engineer. This role necessitates a strong understanding of international standards related to piping components and experience in developing line specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Creating piping material specifications based on contractual documentation.
- Preparing material requisitions (technical supply specifications) for the procurement of piping components.
- Conducting technical evaluations of bids for piping components.
- Managing supplier documentation post-order issuance.
- Providing site assistance as required.
The Piping Material Engineer will engage in FEED and EPC projects, ensuring compliance with project timelines. Familiarity with technical software and digital platforms for design and material management is essential.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in English.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of international standards such as ASME, ASTM, EN, and customer-specific standards.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PUMA, Aveva ERM, Smart Plant Material, and Microsoft Office.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Location: Milan (MI)
Additional Information: Willingness to travel for assignments in Italy and abroad for extended periods is essential. This is a permanent position with a salary package that reflects the candidate's experience level.
