Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Terminal Project Manager to join our Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing container terminal operations, ensuring seamless integration with internal departments and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement process improvements to enhance terminal efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans
- Manage and coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, including Civil Engineering, Equipment, IT & Automation
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations, leading by example
- Support the department and business unit as required, adhering to corporate authority matrix and contract policies
- Actively identify and report improvement opportunities to direct reports
- Good English language skills (Italian and/or German are a plus)
- Previous terminal experience, with a focus on container operations planning and execution
- Knowledge of container handling equipment and industrial automation
- Experience with process mapping, design, and gap analysis techniques
- Strong data analytics and continuous improvement skills
- Ability to work with AI applications in industrial environments and operational simulation methodologies
- Requirement engineering of terminal IT systems and project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
