Electronics Mechanic

The Electronics Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment at USAG-Italy and outlying sites in Italy. This includes performing operational testing, maintenance, and repair of digital control, monitoring, metering, and transmission data systems installed in and for proper functioning of HVAC systems, Medium Voltage/Low Voltage electrical systems, including co-generators, heating and cooling production systems, TVCC, gas detectors, and fire detectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, modify, and repair auxiliary electrical systems in the Cogen set, including on-board electrical panels and sensors, transducers, and actuators.
- Test circuits and equipment using voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeters, meggers, and ohmmeters.
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install conduits, inserting, splicing, and connecting wires to fixtures, outlets, switches, receptacles, and power sources.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations, including the use of rubber gloves and sheathes, hot sticks, climbers, and safety belts.
- Possess PES Certification IAW CEI 11-27 and CEIEN 50110 1/2, issued by agencies specialized in technical training.
