Financial Cost Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Cost Targeting - Exterior Trim Components to join our team at Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.
Job Responsibilities
As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for defining financial investments and material costs targets for Exterior Trim Components. You will work closely with Finance Project Leaders and collaborate with Procurement and R&D Departments to improve components costs using cost engineering methodology.
Key Accountabilities
- Be a reference for material costs data for a specific technical perimeter, with an active role in the 5-year planning for car costs, both for series and pre-series models.
- Track quarterly COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) for series models.
- Analyze original project targets by components, including plausibility checks for the Strategy Team and benchmarking with current and new competitor models.
- Assign target costs for parts and material manufacturing costs, according to R&D technical requirements, including benchmarking with current and new competitor models.
- Improve product cost through effective cost engineering methodologies (VAVE, design to cost).
- Act as the finance representative in the SET (Simultaneous Engineering Team), manage necessary information through the finance department, and be responsible for variable costs and investments management during the product lifecycle, with a focus on modification costs.
- Manage change requests within the SET and assign modification cost targets.
- Ensure and update reports and trends preparation.
- Provide cost materials consultancy after product SOP.
