About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Control Project Engineer to join our team at Burckhardt Compression in Caponago.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Efficiently process electrical equipment deliverables and required documentation.
  2. Compile instrumentation and control-related documents, including instrument lists, specification for electrical equipment, interface diagrams, wiring diagrams, signal lists, cause and effect lists, logic diagrams, layout drawings, and technical specifications for instrumentation and PLC/HMI hardware.
  3. Coordinate with BCAG and other BCx instrumentation and control departments.
  4. Support the project engineer during meetings with clients related to instrumentation and control.
  5. Provide technical support to customers during projects.
  6. Coordinate and support the Service department, especially during commissioning.
  7. Monitor the delivery schedule and costs of instruments and control parts.
  8. Evaluate possible new suppliers with procurement and quality.

Requirements

  1. Master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or similar education.
  2. At least 3 years' experience in similar business: Plant Engineering and Construction, Chemical/Petrochemical Industry, Industrial Gases Industry, Refinery Industry.
  3. Knowledge of rotating equipment and/or related processes would be beneficial.
  4. Very good English knowledge, fluent in spoken and written.
