Your Role

As a Logistics Automation Systems Manager, you will be part of our dynamic and multicultural team. Your primary responsibility will be managing the troubleshooting for our automatic systems while interacting with a team of experts. You will work closely with local Operations, Planning, Technical Engineers, and IT teams to ensure MHE system optimization and project implementation, as well as high systems availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Contract Logistics System Manager in the execution of the daily 'DILO' and release of work in line with customer SLA's.
  • Monitoring and maximising the ongoing progress of the day-to-day control room operation, identifying opportunities for improvement, challenging the daily DILO, and driving a continuous improvement mentality.
  • Overseeing the monitoring of SCADA/WCS/WMS systems and cameras, supporting escalations for any issues raised to maintain electro-mechanical flow of totes and pockets through direction of engineering resources.
  • Communicating and reporting technical anomalies regarding MHE systems directly to local Technical Engineers, respecting strict deadlines and priority set up.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews, measuring equipment, performance to contract, documenting issues, and issuing a prioritised action plan to drive improvement and maintain optimum performance.
  • Developing and implementing reports regarding MHE systems to show, explain, and analyse automated system operations and identify potential issues in advance.
About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a multinational company with a matrix organisational structure. We are looking for someone with 2-5 years of experience in large-scale (>300 FTE) highly automated fulfilment operations, preferably in eCommerce/Fashion/Retail experience.

Requirements
  • Proven track record of successful completion of projects related to operation automated systems commissioning, software integration, calibration, or troubleshooting.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of automated systems such as SCADA, PLC, etc., and confidence with WMSs and WCSs applied in operational environments such as warehouses or production factories.
  • Experience with metric-oriented and data analysis-based work environments characterised by the respect of strict SLAs and deadlines, and ability to prioritise issues and tasks using ticketing systems.
