Job Description

Cubico Sustainable Investments is seeking a highly skilled Project Developer - Renewable Energy to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our portfolio of renewable energy projects across wind, solar photovoltaic, and new technology as storage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development: Support the development team with a pipeline of projects under development, exceeding 1 GW.
  • Project Monitoring: Regularly monitor projects to ensure progress, quality, deadlines, and any potential delays or events that may impact project completion.
  • Data Management: Develop and implement procedures for an effective data management system, collecting project documents and main information, creating rules and procedures for data sharing, and managing incoming data files.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and prepare risk mitigation measures in collaboration with the development manager.
  • TSO Portal Management: Manage the TSO portal and all necessary documentation in cooperation with the internal team and TSO.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Implement reports and presentations on development progress in collaboration with the finance and development team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders of projects under feasibility phase.
  • Project Opportunity Analysis: Analyze new project opportunities in the feasibility stage together with the internal engineering and performance team to select the best projects for development.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in engineering, economics, or a similar technical field from an accredited university.
  • Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects in Italy (highly desirable).
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to work well with international teams.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Good understanding of the utility's regulatory environment and renewable business.
  • Communication Skills: Strong planning and organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to set priorities.
  • Language Skills: English upper intermediate level.
