EHS Specialist Coordinator

Under the supervision of the HSE Manager/RSPP, coordinates and verifies all safety, health, and environmental provisions, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements in the reference plant. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of EHS performance, ensuring full and homogeneous compliance of the entire organization operating in the site with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and best practices.

Annual activities:

  • Promotes and updates ISO documentation (procedures, instructions, modules, minutes, registers, calendars, etc.).
  • Conducts context analysis and site visits.
  • Carries out awareness and training activities in the HSE field (new hires, periodic updates, etc.).
  • Supports the management of internal audits in the ISO and Corporate areas (WPI, SOCP sheets, etc.) with registration of evidence and management of any non-conformities/proposals for improvement.
  • Supports operational achievement of corporate and project objectives.
  • Supports operational management of KPIs.

Daily/Weekly activities:

  • Identifies the occurrence of new risks or modifications to existing ones arising from activities to maintain the DVR up-to-date and support the HSE Manager/RSPP in evaluating and analyzing events (injuries, near misses, etc.), proposing preventive and corrective actions.
  • Checks compliance with EHS rules and procedures within the plant.
  • Operational control and surveillance of fire prevention and first aid equipment, waste disposal, etc. to verify constant compliance with mandatory regulations.

Interfunctional relations:

  • Supports monitoring and processing of data and information related to health and safety management and environmental management.
  • Supports the organization of training courses in health, environment, and safety, sending communications to various corporate referents.
  • Supports operational compliance with the Integrated Environmental Authorization (AIA) requirements, particularly for the monitoring and control plan.
  • Supports communication projects, improvement, and operational control.
  • Supports the organization and management of health suitability deadlines, in collaboration with RSPP, HR, and Medical Competent.
  • Verifies documentary compliance of suitability documentation for contracting and subcontracting companies, manages internal documentation (DUVRI, etc.), and controls works in execution for the HSE part.
  • Diffuses safety culture in corporate sites through monitoring and awareness and training activities.
  • Supports the HSE Manager/RSPP in relations with other safety actors (prepost, RLS, emergency staff, etc.).

Basic training and skills:

  • High school diploma.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in the HSE field.
  • Knowledge of environmental and health and safety regulations.

Specific skills:

  • ASPP qualification.
  • Strong interest in health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Good knowledge of the Office package, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Reliability, precision, and organization.
  • Result-oriented, organizational, and analytical skills, problem-solving.
  • Good communication and relational skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO management systems and good knowledge of the English language constitute a preferred title.
