As a skilled Embedded Firmware-Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex software for high-end microcontrollers. Your tasks will include:
- Developing embedded software using C/C++ and integrating it with a multi-tasking RTOS.
- Collaborating with internal SW architects and external partners to ensure seamless software development.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing new hardware designs in conjunction with hardware engineers.
- Performing thorough testing and validation of the developed software and ecosystem.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Engineering (Software, Electronic, Automation, Telecom) or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in embedded firmware-software development in mid-sized structured companies.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and version control tools (Git).
- Experience with RTOSs, multi-threading coordination mechanisms, and IoT architectures.
- Knowledge of standard industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Bacnet, CanOpen) and ability to understand hardware schematics.
- Fluency in English (B2 or above) and experience with Agile methodologies and TDD (Test Driven Development) is a plus.
