About the Role
We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our R&D department, which focuses on product-oriented research and development to ensure our company's competitiveness in the market. The successful candidate will work on a project involving anti-collision technology using Ultra Wideband (UWB) localization and tracking.
Responsibilities
- Develop software applications and solutions related to E80 Group products
- Contribute to the entire software development process (implementation, testing, and validation) for embedded hardware integrated into the system
- Implement firmware and software in C/C++ on embedded processors (ARM)
- Design control algorithms (Kalman filter, etc.)
- Support the team during the bring-up, testing, and validation of electronic boards
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation
- Interest in developing embedded software for microcontrollers
- Ability to develop and debug software applications on both Linux and MCU with or without RTOS (C, C++, Python)
- Good knowledge of Linux systems in the context of an embedded product: Python/bash scripting, kernel, and driver tweaking for HW support
- Basic knowledge of systems theory and automatic control (state observer, Kalman filter, etc.)
- Good knowledge of industrial communication interfaces/protocols (e.g., serial protocols, RS485, CAN, I2C, TCP/IP)
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Availability for travel
