As a Financial Analyst specializing in Profit Recovery, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and recovering potential profit losses within our organization. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Acquiring a deep understanding of our clients' operations and structures.
- Performing complex analyses to identify the causes of profit loss (duplicate payments, unrecorded credit notes, unapplied discounts), detecting anomalies, and proposing an action plan.
- Delving into contractual and commercial agreements to optimize conditions and improve overall profitability.
- Mastery of various tools, from clients' internal systems to Valuement's tools.
- Managing communication with clients' suppliers and presenting analytical results and periodic reports to our management.
- Contributing to process improvement discussions, shaping our services and relationships, and discussing analysis results with senior analysts and audit managers.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and relevant regulatory changes affecting profit recovery.
Required Profile
- Up to 1 year of professional experience or internship as a Financial Auditor, Controller, bank employee, or other financial entities or consulting with a degree in a related field (accounting, business management, economics, statistics).
- Strong financial and analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software and tools.
- Interest in financial principles, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
- Critical and open-minded approach and willingness to improve.
- Bonus: experience in the retail or consumer goods sector.
