EUC PT Engineering Processes and Tools Specialist

As a key member of our Power Transformers business in Europe, you will play a vital role in driving our journey towards a carbon-neutral energy system. Reporting to the Hub Engineering Manager for Power Transformers in Europe, you will be responsible for optimizing and synchronizing our processes and tools across various locations to meet the growing demand for Engineering capacity in our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with our Engineering Teams across Europe to map and analyze existing processes and tools, focusing on operational basics and design for excellence.
- Propose improved approaches to boost efficiency and cope with growing demand for Engineering capacity.
- Promote standard work based on design schema, implementing clear stages and decision points in Engineering processes, as well as change management practices.
- Ensure Quality by implementing critical to quality controls to execute our tender and order backlog.
- Collect proposals from our Engineering Community on how to improve design tools, scrutinize them with the Engineering Management Team before submission to RD for development.
- Establish KPIs to monitor process and tool implementation, initiating improvement initiatives in case of deviations.
- Guarantee required documentation, training, and tools are in place for seamless project transfer between locations.
- Collaborate with other functions, especially Sales, Operations, and Procurement, to have Engineering seen as part of the entire value chain.
- MSc in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer-Aided Design.
- 8-10 years of experience in an Engineering function, preferably in Transformers.
- Strong technical knowledge of PLM (Windchill preferred), 3D CAD (Creo preferred), CAD Automation, and ERP systems.
- International experience and Intercultural sensitivity.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
- Structured and analytical thinking, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
