Valeo Group is a leading automotive supplier, delivering innovative products and solutions to the global market. As a System Engineer in our Santena plant, you will have the opportunity to work with top carmakers on electronics development projects in an international environment.

Mission:

The Automotive System Engineer is responsible for ensuring the success of projects by delivering system, software, functional safety, and cyber deliverables.

This role involves analyzing customer product requirements, allocating them to respective subsystems, and providing acceptance.

You will also be responsible for performing and supporting system validation, as well as issue analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and discuss customer requirements (SW, HW, Mechanical, Safety, and Cyber).
  2. Manage system specifications.
  3. Facilitate and mediate for the system team and stakeholders, ensuring a common understanding of system goals, scope, requirements, and architecture.
  4. Track SW Supplier implementation maturity.
  5. Support Verification & Validation Test team.
  6. Support Project Request for Quotation (Safety and Cyber Impact).
  7. Manage R&D contributors, dedicated or not.

Technical Skills:

  1. Vector tools (CanOe, CAPL coding, CanDb++).
  2. Vector VT System (HIL Automated test bench).
  3. Experience with Network bus: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and LVDS (nice to have).
  4. Automotive Diagnostics according to ISO.
  5. ASPICE process.
  6. Compliance Matrix and Document Tracking List.
  7. IBM Doors, Polarium, or similar Requirements Management Tools.
  8. Automotive Spice Process standard.
  9. Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO).
  10. Knowledge of Cyber security.
  11. Laboratory Instruments such as Multimeter, Oscilloscope, and Power Supply.
