Electronics Mechanical Engineer Job DescriptionAlpinestars, a leading global performance motorsports apparel, protection, and footwear manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join its RD department. This role involves designing, developing, and testing components for Alpinestars' mechanical products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical components for electronic products using CAD programs (CATIA) and additive manufacturing technology.
- Create detailed design specifications and drawings based on product requirements.
- Search and develop innovative components and technical solutions.
- Conduct simulations and prototyping to validate hardware designs.
- Collaborate with Software and HW electronic engineers to integrate hardware and software components with mechanical components.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications.
- Lead proof testing through internal laboratory.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware design and part development in Automotive, Motorsport, or Sport Equipment industry.
- Strong understanding of product development process.
- English level B2-C1.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD program (knowledge of CATIA is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the market.
