About the Role

Eaton, a global leader in custom vacuum interrupter solutions, seeks a seasoned professional to drive business development and maximize sales growth of its Vacuum Interrupter product line.

As a Key Account Manager for Electrical Circuit Protection, you will be responsible for defining and implementing product commercial strategies, go-to-market strategies, and sales channels to optimize sales, profits, and market share.

Working closely with operations teams, engineering teams, and sales managers, you will identify the right products for customers, implement and maintain quick turn-around times, and support overall CPCD strategy.

You will be the first line of support for customers, answering technical questions, and providing critical input to Product Roadmap and R&D priorities based on Voice of Customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own sales revenue numbers and profitability targets for the Vacuum Interrupter product line
  • Define and implement product line mid-to-long-term strategies to optimize sales and profit in responsible countries
  • Work with operation teams to identify the right products for customers and implement quick turn-around times
  • Conduct market studies, provide critical input to Product Roadmap, and support overall CPCD strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a similar role within the electrical industry in the responsible region
  • Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English
  • Broad technical knowledge of short circuit protection principles, medium voltage equipment, and switchgear
