We are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Procurement Project Manager for our operations in Italy.
Job Purpose:
Ensure that supplier performance in terms of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) aligns with the objectives for designated projects. Act as the work package owner for the project and serve as the primary liaison between project management and sourcing teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the sourcing activities for the project:
- Guarantee that the overall QCD targets for the material under your purview are achieved.
- Participate in project management committees.
- Integrate PSCL outputs into the overall project framework, ensuring timely and quality availability of purchaser requests for buyer handover and material readiness for initial production.
Communicate project requirements effectively:- Organize kickoff meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Address any discrepancies compared to tender commitments, incorporate lessons learned, escalate critical delays in specifications, and facilitate collaboration between Engineering and Sourcing teams.
- Clearly outline specific legal requirements for negotiations based on customer demands, in consultation with the Project Manager.
Develop and execute the Project Sourcing Strategy:- Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish a sourcing strategy that aligns with the overall platform sourcing objectives.
- Lead supplier selection through the Business Award process and seek arbitration when necessary.
- Supervise the execution of contracts with selected suppliers until the First Article Inspection (FAI) milestone is reached.
Manage the Material Work Package:- Regularly review the QCD material scope with stakeholders, establishing a clear vision for project completion while considering risks and uncertainties.
- Conduct bridge analyses at each SPR cycle.
- Initiate claims for CONQ S2 incidents as required.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Purchasing or a related field (Engineering, Project Management, etc.).
- Interest in technical domains.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, Sourcing, Engineering, or Quality.
- Proficiency in English and experience in international environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
