About the Role

This Databricks Expert position in NTT Data involves supporting customers in Big Data projects, working with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives. You will deliver data acquisition, transformations, improvement, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading into data lakes for analytics and machine learning models.

This role requires knowledge of cloud native environments and innovative problem-solving skills. As a bridge between Data Science and Data Engineering, you should have a clear understanding of both worlds.

Requirements

We are looking for an engineer/architect with:

  • Working experience in a cloud native environment in at least one major public cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
  • 5 years of experience on Databricks preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of Big Data Architectures, cloud, and on-premise solutions
  • Azure infrastructure and networking experience
  • Proven experience in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting
  • SQL language knowledge
  • Leading medium teams experience
  • Working experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other Azure related ETL/ELT tools
  • Microsoft Certification: at least one certification on Azure or Databricks

Salary: €80,000 - €120,000 per year
