Key Account Manager Refinery

Solenis is a leading global producer of specialty chemicals focused on delivering sustainable solutions for water-intensive industries. We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Italy.
- Drive and grow sales and services in North-west Italy and support the heavy industries European market.
- Share Solenis product and market knowledge, ensuring superior value delivery to the customer.
- Collaborate locally and with the broader business to develop sustainable networks.
- Report on prospecting activities, sales opportunities, and competitor activity.
- Contribute to the overall performance of the region and broader business goals.
- Analyse decision-making processes within key customer organizations and initiate contact at various levels.
- Build strong contacts at senior management levels of key accounts.
- Lead and partner with customers for business strategy implementation and plan execution.
- Conduct high-level negotiations to secure new and repeat business.
- Master's degree in chemical engineering or similar, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the chemical treatment industry.
- Extensive knowledge of chemical treatments in Refinery & Petrochemical.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Italian and English.
- Self-motivated and strong drive for results.
