Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of the supply chain area, including procurement, stock management, production planning, and shipment of finished products. This role will collaborate with the sales office and customer care to achieve business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily production meetings to manage tasks and priorities.
- Develop and implement production planning strategies, taking into account planned and non-planned maintenance, quality non-conformities, and ERP approaches.
- Manage raw materials supply according to production planning and develop medium- to long-term supplying plans using MRP.
- Monitor and report on supply chain KPIs, including OTIF metrics, on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with central supply chain roles to negotiate transport offers and manage supplier relationships.
- Act as a liaison with suppliers to resolve quality issues, claims, or delays in raw material delivery.
- Work with Customer Care to improve delivery to customers and enhance customer delivery excellence.
- Update the MES calendar and provide backup support for logistics administration.
- Monitor stockpiles of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products on a quarterly basis, adhering to working capital KPIs.
- Evaluate suppliers based on internal certification policies and EHS legislation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage production meetings and prioritize activities effectively.
- Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems to monitor production advancement and manage raw material supply.
- Excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, internal departments, and external partners.
- Proven problem-solving skills to manage quality issues, supplier problems, customer claims, and other supply chain challenges.
- Basic knowledge of MES and OTIF metrics to monitor performance.
