**Job Summary**

Serco, a leading Space Services Provider, is seeking an experienced Aerospace Operations Engineer to join our team in Italy. This exciting opportunity involves working on the Sentinel-3 mission as a Satellite & Ground Segment Engineer.

As a key member of our Serco Copernicus Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth orchestration of operations across various services contributing to CSC operations. Your primary focus will be on monitoring and reporting overall operations performance, from planned instrument observations and satellite downlink activities to user-level data availability at the data access interface.

The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and respond to complex mission data. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, planning, tracking, and managing tasks and activities to coordinate CSC services and Data Processors maintainers involved in specific Sentinel-3 mission operations.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €60,000 per year, plus additional benefits such as corporate benefits package, great career opportunities in the space industry, international environment, possible hybrid work arrangements, and more.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
