Role Overview

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll design, implement, and manage large-scale cloud infrastructure using AWS services. You'll collaborate with development teams to ensure our infrastructure aligns with business requirements, automate processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and develop robust CI/CD pipelines.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, ECS, and Lambda.
  • Configuring and overseeing Linux VMs and Containers to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Managing complex multi-account and multi-domain AWS environments.
  • Collaborating with development teams to align cloud infrastructure with business and technical requirements.
  • Leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Developing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure using tools such as AWS CloudWatch and the ELK stack.
  • Designing and implementing a multi-region disaster recovery strategy.
  • Building automation scripts and tools to support infrastructure provisioning and integration tasks.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify potential issues in the infrastructure.
  • Overseeing data flow management using AWS services like Kinesis, SNS, SQS, DMS, and Redshift.
  • Designing and managing network infrastructure within AWS.
Your Ideal Profile

We're looking for a seasoned professional with:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on AWS services and tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services such as EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD, automation, and system monitoring.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Solid grasp of networking principles, particularly in AWS environments.
  • Advanced skills in Linux system administration.
  • Proficient in using CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Prometheus.
  • Knowledge of data flows, event-driven architecture, and managing data pipelines on AWS.
