Job Title: Plant EHS Manager

Job Summary:

Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Plant EHS Manager to join our team in Kotri, Pakistan. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective EHS programs and initiatives to drive EHS performance.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
  • Nurture a culture that is fully aware and in compliance with federal and provincial regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all EHS regulatory requirements are fulfilled, including various licenses, permits, and certifications.
  • Participate in local and sub-regional EHS audits and take effective measures to mitigate all identified gaps.
  • Ensure timely reporting of all incidents and injuries and make sure these are thoroughly investigated.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in a leading EHS role with a multinational or with progressive process and manufacturing industry.
  • BSc Engineering (Chemical) or MSc (Environmental Sciences).
  • Professional certifications in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, ASP/CSP).

Desirable Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining EHS management systems, e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  • Proficiency in carrying out accident investigations and facilitating safety trainings and workshops.
  • Awareness of latest environmental monitoring & control procedures.
  • Knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment & trouble shooting.
